18 seconds might seem short for this kind of commercial — but that was exactly the challenge. I had the pleasure of directing eight short spots that highlight Migros’ wide-ranging commitment to Switzerland. The goal was to communicate the message directly, with a touch of humor and that unmistakable Migros charm.
The main cast had already been set through previous Migros productions, but we ended up casting additional roles — and I really enjoyed the process with the team. It was a great opportunity to work closely with actors and talents, and to find just the right tone for the humor we were aiming for. We played with subtle expressions, timing, and delivery to make every second count. Every detail matters even more when the format is this short. Love it.
